The themes in my paintings and drawings are that of my alter ego, the 12 year old girl who believes in magic and animal gods…who is invincible, brutal yet kind…the girl who likes to venture into the dark in order to make light of the one we live in.
I am a canadian artist/illustrator from Toronto, who currently lives in Munich. I’ve always wanted to concentrate on making art, and in the past I’ve worked for a communication design agency, a national newspaper, as well as an asian supermarket to fund my interests. Today, I spend 30 hours of the week working as an in-house vector illustrator for an industrial design agency, and invest the rest of my time creating art. Much of the work you will see is a reiteration of my personal narrative…a retelling of my dreams, my hopes. Though I am capable of working in a lot mediums, my current body of work is rendered in oil & alkyd paint.
If you are interested in purchasing an original painting, please do not hesitate to contact me.
